Tall Tales are an important part of American Folklore. From exaggerated stories about Paul Bunyan, Sally Ann Thunder Ann Whirlwind, Johnny Appleseed, Jim Bowie, John Henry, and many more... these kinds of stories make up early American Legends.

At Lost Colonies we want to continue to push ourselves to use folklore and legends from more than just European roots that many RPGs use. At Tall Tales Tavern we also want to break with the mold of Storytellers being a limited set of people. So we're turning the tables and giving our STs a break. At this event everyone gets to be a Storyteller.

Gather some fellow players together, tell the story of that time that Urfexa swam across the sea, or explore a portion of your own character's background. Run a "what if" scenario for your friends, host an epic pirate battle on the deck of a pitching ship. Defeat an entire army of 2nd MR with just your frying pan. Then come back into the Tavern and Tell that Tall Tale where nobody needs to believe you.

More details will be coming, but we believe this could be super duper fun!

This event will also be Family Friendly with some small planned kid friendly larp adventures available.
